I was actually able to set-up Enlightenment on my GhostBSD laptop and it works very well. I will test a setup of OpenBox and will let you know how it goes. Although there is only about a 10 to 20 percent CPU/RAM savings vs the current Mate environment. My whole purpose for this was to have a real FreeBSD systems with an up-to-date desktop environment on my laptop so i can us for both, my personal stuff and some work/testing when on the road.

I do believe KDE Plasma just landed in FreeBSD 13.current, probably because of Kris Moore & TrueOS.
But TrueOS is also switching from the openZFS to the ZOL project,
so the next version of GhostBSD will require some intense testing soon

@liam you are right also I will soon post new iso from TrueOS/FreeBSD 13.current build.
