Is there a way one can
use signal desktop on GhostBSD, by any chance?

You can use the Linux binary.
Follow this two guides.
https://www.micski.dk/2021/12/21/instal ... atibility/
and then
https://www.micski.dk/2021/12/22/instal ... n-freebsd/
Works great for Signal Desktop (I using it) and other Linux stuff when you need it.

Ha ha ha!
This is over and above the head of a 65-year-old GhostBSD newbie.
I hope the Signal desktop application becomes available for GhostBSD
the easy way (via software station), or via ONE command [pkg install signal-desktop] soon,
I mean, before i die.
But, anyway, thanks SwedeBSD .
Your information will help more tech savvy GhostBSD users.

Late respond to the thread.
But now Signal-Desktop is included in the pkg.
# pkg install signal-desktop
And there you go.
