I installed GhosBSD 19.09 on an Asus eeepc 1001PXD and connected a USB serial converter. It shows as being detected in dmesg but there does not seem to be a serial port assigned to it as shown below. The device works fine with Debian/Ubuntu etc. How do I troubleshoot this?

No Serial Port Shown on Asus eeepc
Re: No Serial Port Shown on Asus eeepc
ugen means a usb generic device which doesn't really mean it's supported. FreeBSD works differently in regards to devices being supported. HOwever you may be able to connect to ugen4.3 using cu.
