What do you think is the latest and best intel graphics available?

I would be surprised if it does, but maybe I can't say if it does, FreeBSD kernel and drivers should know that.

For Intel it should be similar to Linux,some developer ported kms to FreeBSD kernel, to have the 2D and 3D accelerations for Intel and ATI GPU.

FreeBSD CURRENT (version 11) has initial support for Intel graphics. But the max resolution is HD only, anything higher is not supported.

Yes, NVidia cards are usually well supported. I would further research for concrete card if you are going to buy.
