sysctl "'net.inet.ip.check_interface" fails in FreeBSD14

Post by nevets »

Our new FreeBSD version [14] reports a failure when starting the network:
sysctl: unknown oid 'net.inet.ip.check_interface' at line 67
This output is from manually running
/etc/netstart
I get no internet search hits at all for the variable string
net.inet.ip.check_interface
.
Anyone got any ideas what its for and why it doesn't execute in version 14?

For completion the rest of netstart works fine...

As this is an upstream issue, I suggest that you mention your problem on the FreeBSD mailing list where the core team can investigate.
