I have an ASUS BlueRay/DVD/CD Drive.
If I put the Ghost BSD DVD in the DVD drive it auto mounts the DVD.
If I plug in an SSD with a USB 3 adapter it auto mounts.
If I go out to YouTube and play music the sound is great.
If I put a music CD in the drive it does not auto mount. This works in Fedora and W10 (same machine for all three OS's).
At the filesystem root there is /cdrom
In /dev/cd0 exists
I looked in /media no /media/cdrom existed so I did a mkdir -p cdrom (using the root terminal) directory created.
I'm new to GhostBSD so I'm a bit stumped.
Sam.

Re: BlueRay/DVD/CD Drive
I have a portable ASUS BlueRay/DVD/CD drive and it will not play a music CD either.
Re: BlueRay/DVD/CD Drive
You don't need to mount music CDs. Did you try playing the CD in vlc?
Re: BlueRay/DVD/CD Drive
Okay I tried VLC, after making some settings changes I got a CD to play but no sound, I see the progress bar on VLC moving.
I see under the Audio menu > Audio Device I started selecting devices...
Nothing like Harrison's WAH-WAH full volume about halfway through, about knocked me out of my chair, JEBUS that was LOUD!
Thank You!
