I am new to BSD (although it's possible I may have used a BSD 20-30 years ago) but have been using GNU/Linux for quite some time.
I have set this PC up with GhostBSD and a long ethernet cable to another part of the house. I happen to have a TP-Link TL-WN620G lying around and it turns out the uath driver (supposedly) works with it.
I got the error reported here https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_ ... ?id=263638 which has been fixed.
I have no idea how I might be able to get the fix, or even if that is a reasonable thing to expect.
For now, I am using the long ethernet cable (sigh).
