When I installed totem using pkg install it had a bunch of GNOME dependencies that went along with it. I guess this caused a problem with libgobject because it complained about that and wouldn't run other stuff. It also complained about libffi.. Don't know why that would come up after I installed totem.

When I rebooted I found that the desktop environment had broke. I guess I can rebuild xorg from /usr/ports? I'll go off of https://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/x-install.html unless this is somehow different for GhostBSD.
