Folks,

Having no success with trying to run an installed GhostBDS system from a partition decided to give over an entire disk to an installation.

All went well. first boot looking good but then presented with the following;

Tried all options suggested in the 'eg' section.

Tried the ? option and then got the following;

That might just as well have been Arabic for all the help it was.

I've used Linux for 20 odd years, I can manually boot O/Ss that have a boot problem but this is defeating me.

Any suggestions appreciated, the live ISO suggests GhostBSD is nice, I'd just love to be able to try it out properly.

Looks like a failed IMG/ISO burn.

Posted new subject as used latest image, installation all appears successful, reboot just hangs at the splash screen.

Seems it didn't like a USB3 port or a USB2 port beside each other. Changed to USB2 port on other side of machine and it boots fine.

Use the USB3 port to boot numerous Linux flavours on external drive so guess this is a freeBSD issue.
