There's a thing I don't understand.
I'm not so new to BSD/Linux, I've been using them since 1998.
Not an expert, but not a newbie.
One of my computer is a Macmini 2012.
I had GhostBSD installed, and made a mistake while upgrading. Broke the system because I used pkg without reading the RTFM.
My bad.
I want to install it again, and it can't boot.
Not / filesystem. I tried UFS, ZFS, UEFI, bios, whatever.
I won't write everything I tried, so please keep focused on this only
When the install is running, I see /dev/ada0s1a mounted as /target (or whatever /mnt, I don't remember)
When it's finished, /mnt is unmounted.
Ok with this.
But when I try to mount /dev/ada0s1a as /mnt, filesystem incorrect ...
What's the trick ?
"gpart show" show a correct partition.
And I can't mount it from Linux ... Debian or Ubuntu ...
I have the same result with GhostBSD 23 and 24.
So I installed FreeBSD instead, without any problem.
What's the trick ?
BTW this computer can boot Windows, Debian, Ubuntu, Mac OS Catalina and even Haiku.
Can't mount GhostBSD partition after install.
