xorg Fatal server error

I'm trying to take a working version 12FreeBSD Ghost to the latest version.
I'm doing a whole disk format.

On trying to install Ghost on this pc after the xorg 'probe' finished I get
[EE] Fatal server error
cannot run in framebuffer mode
please specify BusID

The installer var/run/xorg.0.log says
Xinit giving up
failed to load module ati
/dev/dri/card0 not there

This motherboard doesn't have onboard graphics - a graphics card is attached.

Not sure what to do.
Couldn't find anything at wiki.x.org that seemed applicable...

Getting same error now in 2023 lol seems to be at least one a year report on here?

I watch all these videos for years reviewing & installing it NP & of course I get hit by this foolishness lol I tried all three .iso versions in downloads, stable, newest & community & all the same deal

my pc is all amd if that has anything to do with it?

i looked at a couple of fixes & its all might as well be Egyptian to me!?! no way I'm going to be able to do that stuff so just letting you know & will try again in a years time

In the case of Nevet, it is solved, but RX6600 XT is not yet supported. It will only be supported when GhostBSD moves to 14.0.
