MPV doesn't support streaming over SMB

How to make this happen? I can't simply play videos over SMB. Whereas VLC can do that. But MPV looks significantly better. I want to use it. Also, I tried Kodi too, it also lacks smb support.

MPV is supposed to support it. I will have to see if there is an option missing.

It actually didn't. Do I lack some gvfs or something to support it?

gvfs should be installed by default, but an option on the port might be missing.
