i tired ghost bsd a long time ago and had issues and this forum is rather dead and i do not do other telegarm types of thinbgs i am sorry. tried it agan and the mate official version wifi worked but when i tried the xfce which i like and run currently on linux; i could not get any wifi going at all. any clues for help would be appreciated.

it is an old HP and i have no info at the moment to help out. wifi worked on mate live ghostbsd and it works on linux.

Download the latest ISO.

i finally got it working with no issue when i reinstalled xfce version. thank you for the reply! i am glad there is actually some help on this forum!

ok i tried elnightenbment desktop whcih i have used a lot many years ago - wireless seems to work but i get no netowork/wireless manager - any clues? so i am getting hung up a bit with this wifi stuff.

I appreciate any help and yes it is laded ontop f the mate version this time.
