hi ! Many thanks first for the job, i can't wait to test this version of BSD which looks perfect!
I was able to install the latest version, stable 13 without any problem, but I cannot configure my ethernet network ... I followed the tutorial but when I do an ifconfig -a I only have Lo0, nothing other, my bios is however well regulated in UEFI, my card network too.
pq. sorry for my bad english i'm french...
NETWORK no card/interface found
Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
to add some informations of my config, its a intel card on gigabyte z490 mb
Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
OK... Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller I225-V doesn't be support by BSD

Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
If the GhostBSD card does not appear in ifconfig after boot it is most likely not supported.
Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
HI Eric, yes, FreeBSD will integrate this new Intel card in his next RELEASE
take a look https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/inte ... yet.80991/

Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
Since GhostBSD follows stable and not release, it will get in when it gets merged into the 13.0-STABLE repo.
Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
yep, in few weeks or months...
Re: NETWORK no card/interface found
Perhaps Eric you could explain how to implement this driver right now ?
a guy on FreeBSB forum told me : and are willing to build system components from source (kernel or kernel module) you can have the driver right now.
The linked revision comes with a patch which can be applied to the system source to build the igc(4) driver. I've tested the patch, kernel or kernel module alone builds fine on 13.0-RELEASE, but I can't test the functionality, no hardware. Try the kernel module.
the patch is here but how using it ? https://reviews.freebsd.org/file/data/d ... 30668.diff
