Live USB video broken on 2008 iMac

Live USB video broken on 2008 iMac

Greetings all! :D

I wanted to try the latest GhostBSD release, but when I boot off of a USB thumb drive on a 2008 iMac 24", it looks like this

I've tried booting in 'safe mode' and still the same thing. The video card is: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro.

Is there any special trick I can do to get this working?
