Themes issues

Hello,
After a fresh install of the latest XFCE edition of GhostBSD, I can change the GTK theme only partially: when right-clicking on the desktop > applications > settings > appearance AND right-clicking on the desktop > applications > settings > windows manager, if I choose the default vimix or any other one I installed, it does apply to the windows decorations, to thunar, to plank and also the whisker-menu, but not to the right-click menu from the desktop.
Also tried to change the mouse cursor theme: I installed the classic cursor-dmz-theme, but once I select it, it is not used at all. Well, it is used only when I hover a Firefox window, but in no other place I could have tried.
Any hint?
