Re: GhostBSD 11.1 release announcement
I'm very impressed!!
I use Debian with Mate as host and installed GhostBSD 11.1 on VitualBox also with Mate.
@Eric good job. Many thanks. It is worth to try it on a real machine.

Re: GhostBSD 11.1 release announcement
Hello Eric and other GhostBSD fans. Thanks for GhostBSD 11.1
I started from a MS Windows 10 running on a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series Pentium laptop .connecting to the WI-FI internet network at the local Starbucks coffee shop. I was able to run GhostBSD 11.1 from a PNY USB2.0 16GB USB Flash drive.
1.) Went to URL http://GhostBSD.org to download the Mate x64 bit Torrent Link http://www.ghostbsd.org/download
2.) Updated my qbittorent from version 3.3.2 to 4.0.2 download the x64 bit version of qbittorrernt for MS Windows from https://www.qbittorrent.org/download.php or https://sourceforge.net/projects/qbittorrent.
3. ) Started Qbittorrent then searched and added the torrent link from step 1. Downloaded the 2.3 Gigabyte GhostBSD11.1.iso file. This downloaded fairly fast from the sourcefoge link. I ftp Downloaded GhostBSD 11.0 .ISO file from a local library wifi connection that took only 4 minutes to download 1.9 Gigabytes. So thanks for the fast connection from sourceforge.org
4,) Open Etcher.io website https://etcher.io/ Download 50 megabyte file installer for x64 MS Windows
Install Etcher application to your MS Windows 10 system.
5.) Use Etcher to burn GhostBSD 11.1 ISO file to a USB flash drive that you install.
6.) Restart Windows 10 holding left shift key down to bring up boot options. I chose F 12 key and selected Legacy boot BIOS and USB Drive. Boot GhostBSD 11.1
I am now typing this from GhostBSD booted from a 16Gigabyte PNY USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I did not have to set any network options to open the firefox browser and connect to the Open Google Starbucks Wifi.
Hope this helps other new users. See my WB7ODYFred posts under the Networking forum posts for help in getting wifi going, viewtopic.php?f=64&t=526

Have you tried installing?
What goes wrong exactly when you try to install?
