under both bootstick & installed OS. HardenedBSD & FreeBSD run the USB network adapter fine, also run the Intel wifi card just fine. But the hardware on that Toshiba laptop is evil; it also makes openBSD 6.6 kernel panic with the wifi card driver?? I appreciate we have more than one baseBSD ...

As I understand it, Lumina's reason to exist, is that it is fully BSD licensed, no GPL.

you might have an issue on your network with DHCP clients not getting any/correct values for the DNS settings. A lot of OS's & apps use their own DNS settings these days, and ignore local settings... Or you forgot about DNS when you were setting the network IP address & gateway manually? I c...

it means you need to setup your DNS;
