.....just part of the GhostBSD charm!

I can't say that I solved my problem but I reinstalled and immediately did the upgrade......everything is running as intended.

Thanks for your suggestion Slughorn but I have tried most of these things without changing the result.

I have Ghost 20.11.28 on two installations, one an upgrade and the other a new install, but in both cases, while booting up, an error shows "wpa_supplicant.failed to start.wlan0" and, as a result, I don't get any WIFI.

....any suggestions on how to fix this?

I followed up with a new install and this going well.....no recovery from suspend/hibernate but boots ok and WIFI works.

I did the upgrade and things seem very solid and smooth........I do have what I think is a weird boot problem when booting from a cold start. It boots to the 'GhostBSD' window and hangs. Thanks for the heads-up that got me back in business.....took some time but!

I did an upgrade but that failed and system failed to boot after the failure. This is on Ghost installed on a 16MB USB that had previously been running well. I rebooted in order to run 'sudo pkg upgrade -fy' and this resulted in the following 'not enough space in /var/cache/pkg',,,,,,needed 1286 ava...

It is difficult to determine with the info you are able to give us but it might be a graphics problem.......during the install we are given a number of choices........this may be where things have gone wrong.

I get that too but if I hit 'enter' Ghost caries on booting successfully........but I have never chased down the problem any further.
