Hello
I uninstall Ghost because I need to compile Gimp 2.9.6 but there are libraries (babl, gegl, etc.) that are "obsolete". If you explain what I can do to install the latest ones, I can give it another chance.
Thank you

Ram
Hello,
I installed Ghost 11 Xfce, after installation I noticed that the ram always travels around 650 mb, only with the desktop. It's normal??
Opening the process manager I saw that "idle" is about 400%.
The laptop is a Lenovo X230.

Gimp & Wine
Hello, I'm willing to try again after Ghost version 3 that I was impressed, and after reading the review 3.5 out of Distrowatch.
I work on photo editing, and I would like to know if it is possible to compile Gimp 2.9 from git as on Linux, and if Wine works well.
Thank you.

Re: Dvd player
Hello, sorry, but the discussion is that the system does not mount the two readers I have. In "media" there is seen only a partitioned ntfs hd II that contains photos.

Installation
Hello,
I have a little 'of confusion in my head about installing ports and packages.
I can use Pkgng, and portinstall? And if I want to install from source?
Portinstall is already sources?
Thank you.

Pkgng
Hello, I installed pkgng but when I try to install gimp or thunderbird gives me this answer: "http://pkgbeta.FreeBSD.org/freebsd-9-am ... t/repo.txz: Not Found."
I have read, too, that works with portmaster pkgng. Can you help me?
