Re: ten minutes!
Really? is this needed? What exactly do you think will be the benefit of beeing so rude? If GhostBSD get's you so annoyed, there's a very simple solution: uninstall and leave. Edit: because the OP edited his post and took out the rude part, the reply doesn't seem to make much sense anymore. so this ...

Re: No sound control on GhostBSD 19.09 MATE
Any progress on this? Last updated today, no change.
Getting used to adjusting volume with hardware keys, but would be nice to have this working from the UI.

Re: Thunderbird and Enigmail
I never used this myself, but isn't Enigmail an 'add-on' for Thunderbird? You just go to the menu, browse add-ons and Enigmail is there. I just did. Why would it have to be available through 'software station'? Doesn't that method work?

Linker error while using 'Rust'
Using GhostBSD19.09 upgraded to 19.10. I Installed Rust (programming language) to compile some code. Cargo gives me 'linker 'cc' not found' while doing that. 'which cc' gives me nothing. Not even sure if CLANG is installed. It is not available as a package, GCC is. But this is a bit out of my comfor...

No sound control on GhostBSD 19.09 MATE
On my fresh install off GhostBSD 19.09 MATE, I can't seem to control the volume, the speaker icon in the panel is grayed out, the dropdown from it is a plain white field. If I use the hardware buttons on the laptop (Fn+F6/F7) the volume control works correct. On 'Control center' > 'Sound', 'Sound pr...

Re: Unable to make a bootable USB flash drive with GhostBSD 19.04 or 19.09
answering myself... Today I downloaded GhostBSD 19.09 RELEASE, made a USB flash drive, boot my notebook with it and it failed in exactly the same way as before  On the boot manager menu for the (HP) laptop there are several options: one for a USB drive (with the correct name of the USB flash dr...

Re: Unable to make a bootable USB flash drive with GhostBSD 19.04 or 19.09
That was just what I was trying to avoid... No optical drive in the HP EliteBook, i would have to get an USB attached drive. The 'hybrid' ISO's from Ghost have always been a difficult to get going, don't no why. No linux distro I ever tried seem to have that problem. If I have to install from DVD (l...

Unable to make a bootable USB flash drive with GhostBSD 19.04 or 19.09
I first tried dd'ing a downloaded 19.04 ISO on my GhostBSD 11.2 laptop. No error message, disk seems to be written ok. Laptop does not want to boot from it, drive flashes once, then gets ignored, laptop boots to installed OS (I explicitely selected the USB flash drive as boot device). repeating the ...

Re: GhostBSD 18.10 & 18.12
Uhhh, 'Based on FreeBSD'. Do you actually mean 'FreeBSD', or should I read that as 'TrueOS'?
