Re: Some Little Issues
There's no such file as /etc/sysrc.conf. Should I create one?

Re: Installing Brave and Vivaldi Browsers for Beginners
As I watched this install, I saw the dreaded SYSTEMD scroll by unpacking. I guess it's some kind of dependency in Brave, but wow...
Will Brave update regularly installed this way?
I only installed it because I hate Firefox and ungoogled-chromium won't finish playing youtube videos.
Thanks!

Re: Is a Boot Environment the same as an iso?
How exactly, would I boot from a BE?
Can I convert a BE to an iso?
HOW do I replicate a BE onto a USB stick that would be bootable?
How about cloning the hard drive and creating an iso from the resulting clone?

Re: Some Little Issues
No, FreeBSD does not switch audio automatically. That's fine. Is there a way to make the setting "stick" rather than defaulting back to the computer speaker every time I reboot? Many thanks for your answers, and for all the work that goes into this fine OS. Once we are recovered financial...

Re: User manual for Backup Station?
For those of us coming from the Linux or Windows world, and who have no idea what a "boot environment" is, a manual would be very useful! Until I tried it (and closed it because I had no idea what to do with it based on the menu), I had hoped it was a nice GUI that might do what systemback...

Re: Some Little Issues
Okay, the sound issue was solved by adding the Pulseaudio plugin to the Xfce panel and then choosing the headset. I thought the headset would become the default when plugged in, but apparently that isn't the case. Nor was simply opening Pulsaudio from the menu, because it did not offer the option to...
