ok i tried elnightenbment desktop whcih i have used a lot many years ago - wireless seems to work but i get no netowork/wireless manager - any clues? so i am getting hung up a bit with this wifi stuff.

i tired ghost bsd a long time ago and had issues and this forum is rather dead and i do not do other telegarm types of thinbgs i am sorry. tried it agan and the mate official version wifi worked but when i tried the xfce which i like and run currently on linux; i could not get any wifi going at all....
