Re: Network Manager parity with Linux
I agree, it's a bit hard for me to grasp setting up a shared network on GhostBSD and FreeBSD. currently have a dedicated box running Linux that routes network traffic. I put in about 20 hours trying to get it going on FreeBSD but failed really badly. haha It would be great to have an easy GUI for br...

Re: USB tethering (from Android) to GhostBSD?
A simpler solution may be a simple GUI application for the commands "dhclient ue0" and "ifconfig ue0 down/up". I guess I could learn to python. Lol

Re: USB tethering (from Android) to GhostBSD?
What would you like to see in an auto configure script? Maybe a Python GUI app to run these two lines of CLI. Your more detailed thoughts on this issue , interest me. sudo kldload if_urndis if_cdce if_ipheth dhclient ue0 I think a GUI would be nice but preferably integrated into the network Manager...

Re: USB tethering (from Android) to GhostBSD?
This is an annoyance. It would be nice to have an auto configure script for GhostBSD. It's expected that you customize the way you want on FreeBSD but not GhostBSD. That's just my opinion.

Re: GhostBSD is convenient
I just installed FreeBSD 13.2 release. But it has a mouse freeze issue. The mouse will freeze for a few seconds, touchpad to be exact. It's all good. I'm still running GhostBSD on my other HP ProBook without issue. And it's my main machine at the moment.

Re: GhostBSD is convenient
No, X still fails on that latest 13.2 Stable ISO. It had an "IN" error. I was going to try and get the log to post but I wasn't able to get connected to the internet to ssh over. I'm not where I have a LAN available. I'm WiFi at the moment and I couldn't remember the wpa_supplicant format ...
