Okay. I'll try that, but I would like to find out why it failed installation to the hard drive.

Fatmac, It failed, but at least it got further along before doing so. It apparently doesn't like my size specified. That seems odd. I'm guessing that the previous menu is the one to pick "use entire disk", something or other, and then "customize". I'll take a look and then try it out if that looks achievable. I'll let you know my results.
